For nearly
two decades, Melany Klinck has been writing feature articles and promotional materials for diverse audiences, including consumers,
banking executives, and small business owners.
As
a freelancer, she's written for regional and national publications, advertising agencies and small businesses. Most recently,
she has been a regular contributor to MyBusiness, Takeoff, and Triumph magazines and AT&T
Wireless Services' online newsletter. She also has collaborated with graphic designers to produce sales
collateral, direct marketing materials, and Web site content for companies such as: Altair Data Resources; Milam Results
Marketing; HCA, Healthcare Corporation of America; United Airlines; TTS, Technical Translation Specialists; B.I.G.
Group; American Healthways, and many others.
From 1990-2000, Melany worked for the marketing company, FISI-Madison Financial
(now Progeny Marketing Innovations), where she wrote and developed business-to-business and consumer marketing communications; white
papers and trade articles on financial marketing; and the company Web site.
She also served as FISI-Madison's Senior Editor, Corporate Publications, from 1993-2000.
In that role, she managed and wrote numerous articles for five publications:
- Strategist, the company's flagship publication, which provides
marketing insights to senior bank executives.
- E-news, an monthly newsletter for bank Web sites, featuring
lifestyle and consumer articles.
- Resources, Distinctions, & Consumer Update,
quarterly newsletters providing lifestyle and consumer-oriented articles.
- Frontline, a quarterly newsletter for bank customer service
staff covering marketing, sales and customer service.
Melany graduated from of the University
of Tennessee in Knoxville with a B.S. in Communications.
